I just got back from a whirlwind songwriting trip through Germany and northern Europe. It was a journey that lasted 4 weeks, yielded 29 new songs and connected me with incredibly talented writers from all over Europe.

We started in Berlin with a one week songwriter’s workshop, hosted by EMI music publishing and Gibson guitars. There were 12 songwriters from 8 different countries.

Then in the following weeks I worked almost every day with artists and writers in Berlin, Hamburg, Brussels and Stockholm.

It was a brilliant experience, not only because of the songs that were written, but because of the people I met and connected with.
